WCAG 2.2 AA
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. These guidelines describe how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for the widest range of people.
What we have implemented
Skip-to-content link
A skip link is the first focusable element on every page, so keyboard and screen-reader users can jump past the header straight to the main content.
Visible keyboard focus
Every interactive element shows a clear focus outline when reached by keyboard, so the current position is always visible.
Semantic landmarks
Pages are built with proper header, navigation, main, and footer regions, giving assistive technology a consistent structure to navigate.
Reduced motion
The site honours the prefers-reduced-motion setting: where you ask your system to minimise motion, animations and movement are turned off.
Responsive layout
The layout adapts to the viewport and reflows for small screens and zoom, without loss of content or horizontal scrolling.
Readable, contrasting text
Content is text-based and the palette is chosen so that body and secondary text meet sufficient contrast against the background.
Work in progress
Accessibility is not a one-time exercise. We continue to test and improve the site, and we know some areas can still be made better. We treat reported barriers as defects to be fixed.
