Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the Meret Association for Trusted Digital Systems (MATDS) website and member portal. By using the site or an account, you agree to them.
Using the site and the portal
Use the site lawfully. Do not disrupt it or attempt unauthorized access, do not impersonate anyone, and do not harvest the register in bulk or imply an endorsement the Association has not given. If you hold a portal account, keep your credentials confidential and do not share the account - you are responsible for activity under it.
Truthful and accurate information
Applicants and nominators must submit information that is truthful, accurate, and their own. Recognition rests entirely on the evidentiary record: misrepresentation, fabrication, or material omission may invalidate an application and void any recognition that resulted from it.
The Association's marks and documents
The Association's name, post-nominal designations, crest, and governance documents are its property. A recognized member may truthfully state their standing and use their post-nominal letters; otherwise the Association's marks and documents may not be used in a way that implies recognition or endorsement that has not been conferred.
Verification reflects current status
A verification result reflects a credential's status at the time it is checked. Standing can change, so rely on a fresh verification rather than a stored copy.
The site is provided as is
The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Association is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site or its content.
