By the numbers
Recognition is selective by design. The figures that matter are the ones that bound it: a fixed annual quota, a field organized into ten disciplines, and a single standard applied by senior members of the field.
Fellowship is capped at 25 elections per year worldwide, across all ten technical sections. Election requires outstanding achievement judged by senior members of the field and a two-thirds vote of the Selection Committee. The cap is fixed in the Regulations; it does not expand to meet demand. Awarded by peers, not on seniority, education, or fees alone.
Ten disciplines, one standard
Fellows are recognized across the full breadth of trusted digital systems. Every section is judged on the same evidentiary standard.
The Association recognizes Fellows across multiple disciplines and countries. Individual credentials are confirmed on the Verify page; election cycles are recorded on the Elections page.
