Transparency
Recognition is conferred on evidence and the judgment of peers. This statement sets out how the Association funds its work, how it keeps its judgments independent, and how its rules are governed, versioned, and archived.
Recognition is never sold
No form of recognition is bought or sold. Admission and election are decided solely on the documented record and the judgment of peers; payment plays no part in any decision.
Judged by independent peers
Recognition decisions are made solely by the Association, structured so that no single interest can confer or withhold an honor.
At least two-thirdsof the Selection Committee's voting members are external to Meret Solutions.
At least two of every three Expert Reviewers assigned to a candidate are external to Meret Solutions.
No sponsor employee votes on a candidate affiliated with that sponsor.
Bounded, and published
Fellowship is capped at 25 elections per year worldwide and is conferred only by a two-thirds vote of the Fellowship. Candidates are measured against a published indicator framework, so the standard that bounds recognition is open to inspection rather than held privately.
Versioned, archived, and cited
The Association's bylaws are versioned. Each version of the Charter and the Regulations on Admission carries a version number and an effective date. The Charter is amended by a two-thirds vote of the Governance Board following 30 days' public notice; the Regulations are amended by a two-thirds vote of the Selection Committee, subject to Governance Board ratification.
Prior versions are retained by the Association with their signed instruments and are available on request, and the version in effect is recorded with each credential the Association issues. Amendments to eligibility criteria apply prospectively only.
The Association will publish annual financial statements and surface them here as the register matures. Where a figure is not yet available, this statement reports the Association's standing commitments rather than provisional numbers.
